Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California to a middle class family. Her childhood was filled with big dreams. Her best roles include the action spy film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the drama Precious. The majority of her childhood was located at Los Angeles where she came from a family of middle-class. Instilling a passion for film in her daughter was something that was a gift from her mother, who also loved watching movies. Paula loved participating in school co-curricular activities, and drama was her favorite. She loved performing in stage productions with her friends. After starring in numerous shows at her high school, Hamilton Magnet Arts High School, she decided to make acting her profession. She was part of the University of Southern California's summer program, and enjoyed the experience to death. She was awarded a three-month project producing documentaries on behalf of PBS. She started as a production assist for TV documentaries, after completing her task. After completing her assignment, she started producing documentary films. Although she enjoyed her career, she still dreamed of becoming an actress. Her career began in acting by playing Will Smith's co-star on love story Hitch. Since then, she's been in numerous well-known television and film shows.
