Zoe Saldana is the child of Asalia Saldana and Aridio Nazario. She was born in Passaic (New Jersey) on 19th June 1978. Her father was Dominican as was her mother, while her father is Puerto Rican. Her family was from Queens, New York. Her family and she relocated to the Dominican Republic at the age of 10 where they would be for seven years. Zoe's love for dancing was ignited when they were living in the Dominican. Zoe started her dance training through ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy.
